Sweater/Denim Effect Nail | Acrygel Nail

Hi everyone

I’m Kirsty Meakin and today I’m doing a nail that’s a little less christmassy, doing a knitted effect with Acrygel and a tool, exciting.

I’ve taken the shine off my tip and I’m going to base coat the nail. I’m then going to use Dive In and cover the entire nail. I’m then going to use a carbide bit that’s been sat in Gel Residue Wipe Off Solution and roll across the nail to add texture. I’m then going to remove the sticky layer and neaten up the edge with a file.

I’m going to use a sponge and ivory paint to dab across the raised sections and highlight the texture. I’m then going to use Acrygel to apply stones.
