GDP shrinks as inflation runs hot | Morning in America

The economy is losing momentum, according to new numbers from the Federal Reserve’s favorite inflation gauge. The Personal Consumption Expenditures, which tracks what consumers pay for goods and services, shows prices are up 2.9%. Meanwhile, the U.S. economy’s 4th quarter GDP grew just 1.4%, well below expectations. NewsNation’s Alicia Nieves joins “Morning in America” with a breakdown of what this means for Americans.
