Wixom Lake Steam Shovel Removed from Lake Bed After Almost 100 years

This Thew Model O steam shovel has been at the bottom of Wixom Lake for decades. Devastating floods caused the failure of the dam. While tragic, one ray of hope lay in the re-discovery of the long lost steam shovel.
This machine was acquired by Fixie's father, in 1975, long after it had been submerged. His dream was to raise this to the surface and make it dig again. He has since passed on, but now this dream, and this steam shovel belongs to Fixie.
