This Santa Fe is a Poor Man's Defender

Is this the new Ford Flex, a poor man's Land Rover Defender, or a Pontiac Aztec? It doesn't matter what you call it - it's the best Hyundai ever made; the Santa Fe.

$51k for this Calligraphy trip with AWD and 2.5 turbo engine is a few grand more than the Kia Telluride V6 when it first came out 5 or so years ago. But this Santa Fe has better packaging, better fuel economy, and it feels more capable as a perfect road trip vehicle.
