Shi Yanhe is a monk at the Shaolin Temple. He came here to practice martial arts in 2011. Life in the temple seems uneventful, but in fact it's arduous and tedious. They get up at five in the morning, then train and pray – all day long. Podao has a wooden hilt and a steel blade. The long hilt needs to be held with both hands.
