It’s now April 2021, and the tiny house is finally ready to be rented out on Airbnb. In this episode, we’re giving a complete tour of the fully-furnished tiny house and details on all of its amenities. I also sit down to share final numbers in terms of cost incurred and income generated, my annual earnings goal for Airbnb this year, and how I plan to double the $50,000 earned from 2020, in addition to the major lessons learned throughout this entire process.

The GOING TINY docuseries follows 25-year-old entrepreneur, Precious Price, over the course of 5 months as she works to place a 12' x 24' shed into the backyard of her South Atlanta home and converts it to a liveable, tiny house to rent on Airbnb. After a few delays due to COVID, firing two sets of contractors, and completely having to demolish and re-complete finished work, she quickly realizes just how large of a feat this is.

Packed into 3 episodes, Precious takes viewers through the complete process of designing, building, and renting the tiny house to tenants. She shares total costs pertaining to materials and labor, and even gives insight into how much income the tiny house has generated thus far.

After graduating from the Kelley School of Business with her B.S. in Marketing (2017) and M.S. in Information Systems (2018), she relocated to Atlanta, GA where she quickly created a name for herself in the business and branding space. After purchasing her first home in 2019, Precious decided to also step into the real estate market through the short-term rental platform, Airbnb. In 2020 amidst a pandemic, she managed to make over $50,000 part-time through the platform. She now has three properties in South Atlanta, and recently finished the build for a tiny home.
