Train Sounds in the Canyon | An Ambient Listen

Railroad sounds recorded in the steep granite laden Feather River Canyon in Northern California. Known as a picturesque spot for photography by rail fans, this creation focuses on the shrieking clamor of the trains on the rails of the tight radius curves the follow the contours of the canyon.
While sounding similar to some subway, the length of the trains and size of the canyon adds to the sonic grandeur. Man's machines in nature in a long play format for noise enthusiast listening enjoyment.
