Samba on the beach at Copacabana!

This video captures not just one of my favorite moments of the Unidos trip to Brasil, but one of my favorite moments ever in my life! Otter, Lid, Lynn and I were enjoying caipirinhas on the beach at Copacabana when a samba band came wandering by. Amazingly, Lynn recognized one man in the group as her friend Stan. In fact, she and Stan had never actually met in person until moments before this video was recorded. Lynn proceeded to show off her samba dancing ability, while Otter braved playing along with the band (once they handed her a tamborim and a beater, she was all in.) The sun and breeze of Copacabana, the fresh lime caipirinhas keeping scurvy at bay, and my friends dancing and making music on the beach... it was overwhelming in the best way! What you won't see in this video is the tears rolling down my face the whole time I was recording.
