Jensen #70G-#25 mini steam plant

Custom built Jensen based steam plant , I call it my Jensen 70/25-G mini steam plant. it features a Jensen #70 running a Jensen Generator & Brass faux governor, it has a 3 stage pulley system & can be changed to any one of the 3 speeds without changing the belt length, In the middle is a 2.5" x 6" boiler with custom "banjo" screw 0-30 psi (or 2 bar) pressure gauge(firebox media blasted & repainted with HT paint). On the right side is a Jensen #25 with a Jensen #55 flywheel (much larger) driving a lineshaft & also has a 2 speed drive pulley selection while using the same drive belt, both engines have upgraded solid brass governor balls, all this sits on a plinth that is cabinet grade oak plywood with Oak edging & several layers of polyurethane , plinth size is 16 3/4"L x 11 1/8" W , weight is 8.5 lbs (dry) run time with load on both engines is 20-30 minutes with boiler running full wattage & maintaining 12 psi, Run time -no load & idling slowly for both engines & using a variac voltage reducer is 30-40 minutes ,this is with the water to to top of sight glass & running to bottom edge of sight glass.

The generator, #70 & #25 have all had roller bearing conversions performed on the axles & it make a world of difference in the performance, The #70 doesnt work near as hard as it had to prior to this conversion & the #25 turns over silky smooth now.
