Donald Trump refuses to condemn Kenosha shooting suspect Kyle Rittenhouse

President Donald Trump has refused to condemn the shooting suspect accused of killing two people in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

When directly asked by reporters "Are you going to condemn the actions of vigilantes like Kyle Rittenhouse?", the President replied that Rittenhouse "probably would have been killed" if he had not fatally shot the demonstrators who were "violently attacked him".

Speaking during a White House briefing, the President blamed the current violence on "dangerous rhetoric from far left politicians that demonise our nation and demonise our police."
