Willow (Fred)’s First Nature Walk | Off-Grid Life & Neighborly Chat

It’s Day 3 of our Morning on the Mountain walk series, and today I’m joined by my sister Amber @positivelyobnoxious sweet baby Willow (a.k.a. Fred) for her very first nature walk! Wiley had to work today, so us girls took the trail and talked about everything from neighbors’ horses to egg preservation.

We share some laughs about trail riding (don’t worry, we’re not really getting horses), and even our old dog Lola joined the fun—she could use the exercise too! Along the way, we visit our friendly neighborhood “egg dealer” and catch up with Jeff from @BobbleheadHomestead about his rescued chickens and plans for his place.

As we head home, we talk about the abundance of eggs, water glassing for preservation, and how expensive everything has gotten these days. We wrap things up by showing our appreciation for Wiley and all his handy skills—and of course, by saying how much we love and appreciate y’all.
