In this video we go over 5 of the best formatting tips in excel to make your spreadsheets actually look professional. These are surprisingly easy to implement. First is just adding a cover page gives a much more polished and professional tone to your Excel file. The cover page typically includes a title, a table of contents, and some information on the file. Second is choosing the right color types. Third is making your file interactive with dropdowns (data validation), navigation menus, and grouping. Fourth is inconsistencies such as font, size, colors, and labels. To fix these, we can just use a theme. Fifth is using a table format for a quick format, and as a bonus we have using the freeze panes feature.
