Labour says it has an alternative plan to Rwanda scheme

Shadow work and pensions secretary Liz Kendall has said she was "under no illusions" about how difficult the "issue of illegal immigration is going to be".

Ms Kendall said the government are "not going to lose" the Rwanda bill in parliament this week, and that "they will get it through comfortably".
