The most important topic in calculus is the concept of derivatives. With three different points of view we shall try to unfold the real essence of this concept.
In this video I shall take you through the idea of rate of change to develop the definition of derivatives, why we need them and how we calculate them.
We shall be in the next few lectures try to understand everything possible we can relate to when we talk of derivatives in maths, visualise it where possible and apply it where needed. Lets unfold the mystery behind dy/dx (oops its still few more lectures to go before we start writing that expression).
