From a diverse array of pop culture to the ever-evolving net culture, this book features 150 talented artists who traverse Japan’s globally acclaimed illustration scene.

All featured artists are newly selected, replacing those from the previous edition, 'ILLUSTRATION 2024', offering a glimpse into the cutting edge of contemporary illustration.

Gracing the 2025 cover is illustrator/artist Nanaco Yashiro, whose work, based on the concepts of "universal nostalgia" and "worlds seen in dreams", has garnered significant attention both domestically and internationally.

The book design is handled by the up-and-coming designer Tomoyuki Arima, trusted by numerous creators.
