Pocket Monsters Stadium 2 Part 5 - Completing R1 Nintendo Cup 99 Poke Ball (Lv 1-50 Division)
Pokemon Used and their moves:
Dewgong with Surf, Blizzard, Body Slam, and Toxic
Marowak with Earthquake, Blizzard, Body Slam, and Seismic Toss
Scyther with Wing Attack, Slash, Hyper Beam, and Swords Dance
Vileplume with Mega Drain, Stun Spore, Double-Edge, and Swords Dance
Raichu with Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Surf, and Seismic Toss
Magmar with Flamethrower, Psychic, Body Slam, and Confuse Ray
Here is the third and final exclusive Stadium Mode in Pocket Monsters Stadium 2, Nintendo Cup 99. This Mode contains 4 sets of Levels meaning there are a total of 32 Battles required to fully obtain all the Cups. Pokémon that were used in the top 8 of the Nintendo Cup 1997 national tournament at Spaceworld 1997, as well as Mewtwo and Mew, cannot be used. This Cup brings out a different sense of pokemon variety along with making some of the decent Mons like Tentacruel or Raichu for example be one of the Best Mons of their typing. Most Types still have good variants minus Electric as pretty sure Electabuzz and Raichu are practically the best 2 Electric Options. Keep in mind, only those who win the Master Ball Level gets to be added to the Hall of Fame while the other 3 Levels are just clears to unlock the higher Levels. I will be trying various mons/lineups for each set, though I will say I will be using Electabuzz and Raichu as my Electric Mons since the other Electric Mons are Pre-Evolved forms. With that mentioned, here is the Monster Ball Set of the Nintendo Cup 99 where most of the trainers here gives you a level advantage as they do not get the memo of using Level 50 Mons. Also, my Magmar's Flamethrower is highlighted in pink due to how in Gen 1, it does not learn Flamethrower in its move pool until Gen 2. (Might wind up giving Fire Blast to all of my Fire Mons maybe for sheer power)
