Inspection of SPUR Gear -1.Dimensional (Geometry) verification- (i). Outer Dimension using Micro meter, (ii). Inner Dimension using Dial Gauge, (iii). Between Teeth Length (for 7 Teeth) special micrometer with curved anvil , (iv).Face Width using Vernier and other areas as Groove location,Step location Hole locations and pitch using proper gauges
2. Hardness test Using portable hardness tester
3.Tooth Accuracy (profile checking) such as a)Lead error at roof of the tooth, (b).Profile Error (Tooth Profile) (c) Pitch error
4. Magnetic Particle Test
and Internal Dimensional Report, Material Test report, Dynamic Balancing certificate, Calibration Records, Heat treatment Report
