Hi, my name is Jason Bagnell with JB Computer Services just outside Orlando Florida. Has your desktop or laptop computer become so slow that it takes seemingly forever for it to boot up, open your programs and allow you to get work done efficiently? A new technology has entered the marketplace that virtually eliminates this problem. The technology is called solid state drive or SSD.

These are hard drives with no moving parts, which gives them a huge edge over the mechanical drives that we've been using for many years gone by. The drives are capable of reading and writing up to five hundred and fifty megabytes every second and a lot of computers after the upgrade experience windows boot up times of 12 seconds. Once Windows loads and you see the desktop, typically you can open your programs and get to work right away without even having to worry about waiting for the antivirus and all the accessory and supporting programs to load.

The upgrade is available for both laptop and desktop computers and it is essentially done by copying the contents of your original drive to the new drive and then I can either remove the original and install the new drive in its place or I can leave both drives installed in the system where the original drive is used for additional storage.

I've done many upgrades in office environments typically starting with the owner of the company's computer and the first thing I hear from the owner is how happy he or she is with the upgrade and they always want me to upgrade every computer in the office. The benefits are so tremendous.
