How To Slip the One Two Punch then Step In and Smother the Right Hand! In today's video, Tom Yankello of the  @World Class Boxing Channel  teaches you another way to defend the one two. In the last video, Tom taught how to parry the one two. If the boxer slips the jab that is thrown at his face. Tom explains how if you have the proper shoulder trajectory, then you can just use a twist to slip the punch. This saves you time from having to dip. He slips the jab, and when he has the right hand thrown at him, he is going to step in and smother in to run to the power to smother the right hand. This puts out the fire. When in this position, you could tie him up, pivot on him, throw a right uppercut, can throw your hand around his hips to turn him around. This is a great way to defend the one two.
