Poland Rejects New EU's Migrant Relocation Pact

Poland has been opposing the mechanism of compulsory migrant relocation for a long time. Poland will stick to this approach and will oppose any ideas like this that today are coming out from European Commision again. During 2015 migrant crisis in Europe, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary took a firm stance on this issue and defended its borders as well as the external borders of EU.

After the events of Belarus-Poland border crisis, the institutions of European Union does not seem to have drawn any conclusions. This crisis was artificly induced by Belarusian regime, whose goal was to destabilize the situation in Europe before the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Now there are voices from Brussels about returning to the old proposal for a scheme of compulsory relocation of migrants across the EU member states. Pushing this idea may, unfortunatelly, cause another disputes within the European Union and divide the whole community.
