The Lecturer - Robert Hollander: received his AB from Princeton and was awarded a Ph.D from Columbia University. Prof Hollender has taught at Columbia college, Dartmouth and at Princeton University. He was awarded a Guggenheim, Fulbright, and NEH and Rockefeller Foundation fellowships, and also received a gold medal from the city of Florence in recognition for his work on Dante. At present, Prof Hollender teaches at Princeton University’s Comparative Literature department, of which he is the chair.
