Cologne, Germany: Romans, Food & Fragrances #germanytravel

Cologne, the city founded by the Romans that lent its name to cologne water.

We start the video with a quick view of Cologne Cathedral, Cologne’s most recognizable landmark, at one point the tallest structure in the world.

Right next to the cathedral is the Römisch-Germanische Museum (Romano-Germanic Museum), a museum built on top of the 3rd century Roman villa.

Whether it’s Eau de Cologne or Kölnisch Wasser, two local competitors, Farina and 4711, put Cologne on the map of the World’s fragrance business.

Last but not least, we had some delicious bites at historic Weinhaus Brungs and Cafe Jansen. Loved the Flammkuchen!
