The Streak turns 62
Eisenhower was President of the United States the last time Linfield Football had a losing season. Since 1956, Linfield has won more games than lost every season for 62 straight years. The closest active streak is Florida State with 40, and second all-time is a tie between Harvard (1881-1923), Notre Dame (1889-1932) and Central, Iowa (1961-2002) with 42. The Wildcats extended "The Streak" on Saturday, Oct. 21 with a 12-6 win over George Fox. http://golinfieldwildcats.com/sports/2017/8/30/the-streak.aspx?id=54
