How to apply for FRANCE TOURIST & VISIT VISA for FILIPINO

STEPS

verify what visa category you need to apply for. if you're having a hard time you can use the VISA WIZARD from the France website

1. Create an account at the France-Visas Portal. ( https://france-visas.gouv.fr/en_US/web/france-visas/ma-demande-en-ligne)
*Fill in the required details and then an email will be sent to you for confirmation;
*Once you successfully created an account -- Log in to that account and you can now Fill out the VISA APPLICATION FORM-

2. Next, you will then be asked to book an appointment. You will be redirected to the online appointment and tracking systems of VFS Global as they are the ones tasked to receive these documents on behalf of the French Embassy;

3. You must personally attend your appointment with all the required documents. Also bring a copy of each document, including the passport and its ID pages. The service provider (or consulate) will receive you, review your application, collect the visa fee, capture your biometric data (photo and fingerprints) and retain your passport and copies of all your supporting documents in order to forward them to the consulate.

VISA FEE: is 80 euros or 4,706 PHP
The cost of the VFS service fees is 32 euros per visa applicant or 1798 PHP in local currency

4. Track your application here: https://france-visas.gouv.fr/en_US/web/france-visas/track-your-application-status

5. Collect your passport! You will be notified when your passport is ready for collection from the visa center where you applied. In some instances, the passport can be sent by postal services.

*For those applying for VISIT VISA- The person hosting you must go to their local town hall in France to obtain the proof of accommodation document on your behalf called "Attestation d'accueil" or reception certificate, is drawn up by the person who will welcome it at his home during the stay in France. (https://www.service-public.fr/particuliers/vosdroits/F2191) When submitting your visa application, you must be in possession of the original document as it must be stamped by the consulate and be presented when you enter the country.

*If your applying with a help of a sponsor, make sure you have the following supporting documents from them:

*Sponsorship letter
*Scanned copy of the Passport.
*a photocopy of the biodata page of the passport and travel history of the sponsor (entry stamps).
*Resident ID copy ( if his from the Schengen area)
**Proof of financial funds,6 months bank statements and work contract, and last 3 months payslips.
*Proof of home / flat ownership or rental contract that shows the address. (if sa place nya ikaw mag stay)
* Original Affidavit of Support, legalized by their municipality where the sponsor is registered.
*Proof of relationship -birth or marriage cert, pictures together, chat conversations.
