Black Women victims of Domestic Violence, Say Their Names Out Loud!!!

On Sunday, April 19, 2026 @ 4pm EST When Black Women Gather (WBWG) gathered to talk about Black Women and Domestic Violence in a long overdue conversation with Tanisha Bagley, Say Her Name Out Loud, A Discussion on Domestic Violence.

In recent weeks, the murders of several Black women have garnered higher profile status than is usually afforded loss of life for Black Women via domestic violence or otherwise. The death of each woman named above and more, has received conventional media or social media coverage. Let's talk about it.

Our guest, Ms. Tanisha Bagley, a survivor who took back control of her life, led us in discussion on this very overlooked topic. After years of abuse, Ms. Bagley went on to become an author, a speaker, and soon to be, talk show host. Hers is a compelling story that is sure to empower and resonate with some part of your knowledge and/or lived experience of domestic violence. Be it personal or via a friend, colleague, or relative, each of us has a story to tell of being affected by domestic violence in some very real way. This act of terrorism knows no boundaries socially, racially, economically, or otherwise.
