2018 Toyota 4Runner with 4.0L engine type 1GR-FE - COLD Start engine tick. Only 16,000 miles.

Started this noise when cold weather hit here in Florida. It is about 50 degrees at this point. This noise goes away when hot (for the most part) and changes when the engine loads due to the AC kicking on and off. No official word on this found on the internet, but a lot of dealers are telling folks it is perfectly normal. To me, when something is clicking, it is just a matter of time for it to wear out. This vehicle is still on its third free oil change from the dealer. (Did an extra one). Documenting this since it is still in the 3 year warranty.
