The History of Kariba Dam in Zimbabwe

In this video narrate the history of the 4th largest river in Africa, the Zambezi river, and the construction of the largest manmade reservoir in the world by volume by volume, the Kariba Dam.

The dam was designed by Andre Coyne a French engineer and inventor and construction of Kariba was by an Italian consortium named Impresit.
Much of the material that you use here was filmed by Dennis Serretta, and his son Graham Serretta for a documentary commissioned by the Federal Power Board from Killarney Film Studios.
