FMS P51 Mustang crash (RC model plane)

(For those just looking to see an RC plane crash, it's about half way through -- but why not watch the whole video and enjoy the flight footage as well?)

Poor old Wayne's 1700mm FMS P51 Mustang had a close encounter with the tarmac today but it should be rebuildable. It looked like a "failure to flare" but the turbulent air caused by strong thermal activity didn't help any either.

Gordon's Cessna also had an inverted landing in the field across from the runway but he's already back in the air.

Just a little bit of the laid-back flying from the mid-week fliers recently on the few fine days we've had so far this spring.
