बेंगलुरु के बाद अब महाराष्ट्र के पुणे में भी मानसून की दस्तक से पहले ही तबाही का मंजर देखने को मिला। मंगलवार शाम से देर रात तक शहर में मूसलाधार बारिश और तेज आंधी ने जनजीवन अस्त-व्यस्त कर दिया। कई इलाकों में सड़कों पर पानी का इतना तेज बहाव रहा कि सड़कें नालों में तब्दील हो गईं और खड़ी बाइकें बहती नजर आईं।
तेज बारिश से पहले आई आंधी ने शहर में भारी नुकसान पहुंचाया। फरसुंगी इलाके की एक रिहायशी सोसाइटी की पार्किंग की छत तेज हवाओं में उड़ गई। आंधी की रफ्तार इतनी तेज थी कि कई जगहों पर पेड़ उखड़ गए और होर्डिंग गिर पड़े।
