Wait for it from Hamilton - Revv52

To celebrate the arrival of Broadway Across Canada's "Hamilton" in Calgary from July 12th - July 31st. Revv52 presents "Wait for It" from our 2021 show "Times Like These". We have a lot of musical theatre fans in Revv52 and even have plans for a future Revv production filled with the greatest Musical Theatre numbers.

Wait for It is about being afraid to take risks, waiting for your moment to shine, but as we discover later on, good things do not always come to those who wait.

If you love this song as much as we do, check out the Netflix Series "Song Exploder" episode where Grammy award winning actor, rapper, composer, playwright and filmmaker, Lin Manuel Miranda, talks about the song came to him on a subway ride to a party. Once he got to the party he had a chorus figured out and promptly left the party to rush home to finish it. He says that "Wait for It" and "Room Where It Happens" are two of the best songs he has ever written and we agree!

"Times Like These" was a series of ten concerts at Enmax Park at the Calgary Stampede in June of 2021. The footage is taken from several of the concerts. The audio was captured live.
