Episode 20: How Soon is Now?

After being in counselling for a long time, Paige is positive she’s recovered from her date rape. In fact, she’s convinced her life is back to normal – Dean and what he did are behind her forever. She never wants to see him again, so she’s dismissive. But when she finds out that Dean is coming to Degrassi for a basketball tournament, Paige goes into a tailspin. A little pep talk from JT helps but when she actually confronts Dean and finds out he’s been spreading rumours about her, Paige feels helpless.

JT, who’s the Panther mascot, tries his best to cheer her up but when Paige reveals that Dean raped her – JT goes after him in front of the entire school! When Spinner also figures out the truth, he too is ready for a fight. It’s up to Paige to find the courage to take control and make sure Dean knows he’ll have to pay. He better watch out - because she’s pressing charges. Dean will never do this to another girl again.

Ellie and Marco are partners for their Media Immersion assignment – to develop a product and its marketing campaign. They’ve created a unisex cologne called “Unity”. They decide to co-direct the commercial despite Mr. Simpson’s suggestion that they delegate responsibility. They’re totally in sync – there won’t be any problems! But their collaboration devolves with hilarious results as they each fight to get their own way – and in the end learn a lesson about cooperation.
