My wife FINALLY talked to Air Traffic Control | Cross Country Flying | Mooney Vlog #13

For some time I've wanted to get my wife more involved in flying the Mooney. Today was the first step in shifting her from a passenger only, to a key part of the crew.

We're took the Mooney on a quick cross country to visit friends in Indianapolis, IN. During which Mikki (my beautiful and talented wife) had the power of the microphone button. You can see here reluctance at first, followed by a growing confidence. Unfortunately I'm not the greatest teacher, and things did get a bit congested at our destination. We had to make some quick decisions, but man was it fun...at least for me!
