What's up beautiful people in this video I give my first impressions of the new Melanin Haircare African Black Soap Reviving Shampoo and I am revisiting the Melanin Haircare multi use softening leave in conditioner by Naptural85. I've used the leave in conditioner on my channel on multiple occasions but this time I'm using it as a deep conditioner and a leave in. I will link my Melanin Haircare playlist below so you can see my initial review of the leave in and my first Melanin twist out using the Twist Elongating Style Cream.

// THE SHAMPOO //

The Melanin Haircare African Black Soap Reviving Shampoo is made with revitalizing tea tree, soothing turmeric, and black cumin seed.

I really enjoyed using this shampoo. It felt so good going on my hair and left my hair super clean. My hair did feel stripped after rinsing but my hair was not dry. It had definition, shine, and was hydrated. As soon as I put the Conditioner on the stripped feeling went away.

My Advice - Be careful when rinsing since the shampoo is not slippery when it is being rinsed out. It is a true clarifying shampoo so just squeeze the shampoo out and try your best not to put your fingers through your hair (I demonstrate that in the video).

// THE CONDITIONER //

The Melanin multi use softening leave in conditioner is made with nourishing baobab oil, turnip root, and pro-vitamin B5. You can use it in seven different ways! As a pre-poo, a detangler, a conditioner, a deep conditioner, a leave-in conditioner, a styling cream, and to re-hydrate your hair throughout the week!

My preference is to use it as a pre-poo, detangler, and even co wash. It has a ton of slip and does a great job of starting the cleansing process.

My Advice - For best results I suggest giving it time to absorb into your hair. This can be done using body heat, the steam from your shower, a plastic cap, a deep conditioning cap, or a hooded dryer (the choice is yours).
