In April 2022 Greg and Mal, head to Coober Pedy in South Australia to do some Opal mining. Faced with the challenge of repairing the old Noodling Machine and taking it out into the Opal fields to sort through the opal dumps that the miners of yesteryear had left behind, we worked on the mechanical monstrosity, and got it running perfectly. The challenge now is to sift through the opal dumps and see what we can find of what the old timers left behind.
