Explore Colorado Glenwood Hot Springs

Glenwood Springs is an extremely family-friendly mountain town and very affordable to visit. It also has a long tradition of healing and rejuvenation stemming back to the Ute Indians.

Established in 1888, the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool is the largest outdoor mineral hot springs pool in the world. The Yampah Spa Vapor Caves are also very rare. The only other known place in the world that is like the vapor caves is in Northern Italy.

If you stay at the Hot Springs Lodge, you are right across the street from the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool and Spa of the Rockies. You’re also just down the street, and still within easy walking distance, to the Yampah Spa Vapor Caves. The Hot Springs Lodge caters to families. Most of the rooms have double queen beds and with oversized accommodations. Rates include deluxe hot continental breakfast at The Grill at the Hot Springs Pool.

For lunch, grab a burger at The Grind. They have everything from a tuna grind to a buffalo grind burger. It’s very casual. For dinner, head to The Pullman. It’s simple, refined American food in one of the best restaurants in the area. The flavor combinations are unusual and delicious. Both are walking distance from the Hot Springs Lodge.
