Devlog 01
Same thing as last week, just to show progression.

Devlog:
This week was focused a lot more on gameplay flow and expanding the canyon area (this time I actually did it, lol).
- Player
One of the first things I added was the possibility of looking down by holding the down button while standing still.
I noticed that sometimes it was difficult to know where to go down, jump, or something like that, so I decided to add this feature now. (Maybe I should add the possibility of looking up too?)
But most importantly, a death system was finally added.
When the player's health reaches 0, a small death sequence now happens instead of just... nothing.
When this happens, player becomes unable to move, take damage or perform actions while the camera shakes and the screen fades out while the game saves automatically to avoid losing progress.
For now, there are still no death animations yet.
- Screen Fade
As I mentioned in the death sequence, screen now also fades out and back in when moving from one scene to another.
The screen fades out, the player is teleported to the next area, and then, the screen fades back in.
- Canyon
Besides the gameplay systems, I also continued expanding the canyon area itself.
Some new maps were created this week, and this will remain the main focus over the next few days until the main part of the area is complete.
The canyon currently has around 10 maps, and I estimate ~20 maps in total for Canyon.
