BMW i8 coupe in-depth review | Here's Why the BMW i8 Is Worth $150,000

A rushed in-depth review of the BMW i8. I try and do them pre work as not to mess up my working day but I didn't leave myself much time to get this one done...hence why all the B Roll shots were filmed on the sunnier next day.

Anyway, this was a look around and first impression video of a 2017 BMW i8 finished in grey. I have to say, I was extremely impressed which is something that I wasn't expecting. Having driven some proper snarling beasts in the last 6 months I didn't expect a 1.5 litre 3 cylinder engine to blow me away, but in conjunction with an electric motor the tiny engine produces 369BHP and launches the car from 0-60 in 4.4 seconds.

The drive is typically solid and if you had the money to have this as a run around, it would be a perfect purchase. Would it take the place of a proper supercar, I think not. But with no real competitors, the i8 is still able to capture a market and if you can find one like this that has already gone through its major depreciation, it could be quite a valuable asset considering the fuel stations closed down a few weeks back.

I'm still working on sorting the audio quality so apologies if it is still a bit below par, but hopefully before the next review I can get it sorted.
