Celebrating Black Excellence: Matt Houston

Matt Houston's path to becoming the HEAT's Developmental Coach for Strength & Conditioning began when he himself experienced a career-altering injury as a linebacker for the Washington Huskies.

That path has led him all across the world, from Washington, to China as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Chinese Men's National Team, to Sioux Falls, South Dakota as a member of the Skyforce coaching staff, and ultimately to Miami, where he began his role with the HEAT this year.
