💡 Why Is Your Chain Making Noise?
A noisy motorcycle chain is usually a sign of:
Loose chain tension
Dry or unlubricated chain
Misalignment
Worn-out links or sprockets
Fixing it only takes a few minutes and saves you from costly repairs later.
🧰 Quick Tool List (you’ll see these in the video):
Wrench set (usually 10mm–14mm)
Torque wrench (optional but ideal)
Chain alignment tool (optional)
Ruler or slack gauge
Motorcycle paddock stand (or center stand if available)
⚙️ Quick Chain Adjustment Tips:
Check the manual – Every bike has a recommended slack range (usually 20–30mm).
Measure slack from the midpoint between the front and rear sprockets.
Loosen the axle nut, adjust the tension bolts equally on both sides.
Align the rear wheel using the markers on the swingarm or a chain tool.
Tighten everything back up, and double-check the tension!
Done in less than a minute, and your ride will feel much smoother.
