Finding examples of annotations for a strong annotated bibliography can be hard and nearly impossible! So today, I thought I would discuss what is an annotated bibliography and how to write a STRONG annotation for your reading list that can help you write a literature review, comprehensive exam question, or major research project!

Hi friends! Grad school is hard enough, especially when people think that some knowledge is common knowledge! When I started my grad program in 2016, I had NO IDEA what an annotated bibliography was and even though people told me to write one, I was NEVER instructed on HOW to write an annotated bibliography. Instead I was instructed to read books or to ask a peer. Unfortunately, that didn't really help. So I thought I would share the new knowledge I have gained through my PhD and my TOP 4 Ways I write my annotations for my grad school annotated bibliographies!!
