What's new: Enhanced demo data

n this session from the 2026 release wave 1 launch edition of Business Central, we introduce enhanced demo data designed to improve analytics and reporting demos. You’ll learn how richer demo data lights up Excel reports, analysis mode, and Power BI apps across fixed assets, sales, purchasing, and subscription billing. The enhancements make it easier for partners and customers to tell a compelling data story—without manual setup. All improvements are available through the Contoso demo data tool included with Business Central.
