In case you haven’t realized, ’90s fashion is coming back in a big way. Case in point: overalls are a huge trend this summer. When I first heard this news, I was kind of horrified. When I thought of overalls, the first image that popped into my mind was me as a child wearing a baggy pair with dorky wire-rimmed glasses, wearing a floppy flower hat. So, not the best fashion memory of my life.

But lately, I’ve seen some girls on the streets of New York City seriously rocking overalls in a really fierce way. It’s made me totally re-think them as a fashion item. When our Associate Editor, Caitlin Corsetti, paired her short overalls with booties and a slouchy tee, I even wanted a pair of my own. Who am I? I don’t know.

The point is, you can make overalls stylish – you just need to know how to put your outfit together the right way. As of right now, I don’t know if I’ll be able to pull them off – I’m short with a baby face, and I feel like wearing them will make me look like a giant infant – but I’m going to try.
