SATANG ISLAND | Turtles, Snorkelling & Overnight at Sarawak Island

Satang Island is one of the few islands in North West Borneo on the coast of Sarawak. This Turtle Island is a sanctuary for Green Turtles who nest here between June and October. We took a short road trip from Kuching to Telaga Air, where we took the boat to Satang Besar Island. We spotted a female turtle laying her eggs, we went snorkelling at the coral reefs and had a great time!
