Alright, now that's out of the way, let me explain this in case you didn't understand it (read this, I dare you)

So Carol was pregnant with April, who was the first born. The family lived happily until Carol told her husband, Terrence, that she was pregnant again, this time with Vanny. Terrence then decided he wasn't ready to be a father to two children, so he broke up with Carol and moved out.

Over the years, Carol kept telling Vanny to never listen to what anyone else thinks of her, and to be proud of who she is. However, throughout school, Vanny was constantly getting bullied for being different. April was always the only one at school who stood up for her younger sister, even though she was often friends with the bullies. April kept losing friends for standing up for Vanny, and it made Vanny feel bad. Things were this way all the way throughout school.

But the household as struggling for money, so Carol got a job. But because the household was struggling for money, she became obsessed with work, taking as many shifts as possible. This was having an affect on her mental health, causing her to spend a lot less time with her daughters, and lash out whenever someone tried to get her attention.

Years later, Vany and April have left school, still living with their mum, who is still in a bad mental state from work. One day April goes for a walk, but doesn't come back for a really long time. This worries Vanny, so she goes out to look for her sister. She then comes across Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, where she meets Glitchtrap, who lures Vanny by saying he's seen April and tells Vanny to follow him. She does, but soon realises this was all a trick, but it's too late by the time she realises. Glitchtrap takes control if her, making Vanny his reluctant follower.
