Trump issues pardons to close allies
United States President Donald Trump has issued three high profile pardons for some of his closest allies during his last days in the White House.
Mr Trump pardoned his former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, associate Rodger Stone, and real estate developer Charles Kushner.
Mr Kushner was convicted as part of probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 US election.
President Trump also pardoned his long-time friend Roger Stone who had been convicted for lying under oath.
