The fully redesigned 2018 Buick Enclave offers more space, power, mileage and towing capacity than the first generation, not to mention a slightly tougher, less rounded look. A new flagship Avenir trim packs upgraded looks and materials, including a Black Ice finish on the grille, as well as concierge-ish service from Buick. All 2018 Enclaves support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a range of advanced safety features is available, but only as options to premium trims.

All Enclaves use a new 3.6-liter engine and 9-speed transmission to deliver 302 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. The base comes only with front-wheel drive, but all other versions offer front- or all-wheel drive. A noise-cancellation system, laminated windshield, and plenty of sound-deadening material ensure the driver shouldn't have any trouble being heard from the back with the exception of a great-sounding optional 20-speaker stereo upgrade.
