Riffing in Drop D Tuning
Self explanatory. I'm uploading this for posterity and my own enjoyment, because this lovely guitar you see here was just stolen out of my vehicle in a smash and grab theft in a hotel parking lot in America's lawless hellhole AKA Portland, OR.
I bought this amazing sounding guitar 20 years ago in Irkutsk, Russia in the middle of Siberia. We took the Trans-Siberian Railway from Moscow to Irkutsk and I wanted a cheap guitar for the rest of our trip. So I walked into a music shop in Irkutsk and tried some of their guitars. This one was Chinese-made and cost about $50 as I recall. It sounded so good that I couldn't bear to leave it behind. Ended up bringing it from Irkutsk to Mongolia, to China, then on the flight to Japan and finally back to California. It was a pleasure to play and proof positive that the Chinese can make a damn good instrument for a dirt cheap price.
