Mateus Asato Trio - Live in Seoul (2019)

Hello y'all!
Hope everybody's doing well.
I know this is a random post but these past few days I've been feeling very nostalgic regarding my performances with my trio then somehow this popped up to me. Thank God for the algorithms. This is probably one of my favorite live performances of myself of all time. Great feel, dynamics, tone. How much I miss this. I can't remember what happened but I can tell you I was feeling something else. Also love the fact I was just taking my time. After a couple of shows at that run I finally felt confident enough to "take control" of the stage, which is probably one of the hardest things as an artist. I am thankful for the korean crowds for being always the best and making me most comfortable all the time.
This is how much I love about playing live. Sometimes you suck, sometimes it just flows your emotions. And that night in Seoul I got blessed with a good one. The song we played is called "Maria", and I wrote in 2016 when I was 22. I was blessed to have Yasutaka Nomura from Japan on bass and Chow Kiat Er from Singapore with me on Drums during that run in Asia.
