Woodturning Laburnum Live Edge Bowls 1 & 2 - a pair from the same log by Zennor Made Wood Turner

I was very kindly offered a section of a Laburnum tree that had sadly died and been felled, not too far from home, down in Malpas near Truro in Cornwall (UK)

These pair of bowls have gone back to the owner of the tree as a thank you!

My first time turning Laburnum, these pieces are still quite wet, but the tree had been dead standing for some while and I have been drying the blanks for a short while, the moisture was much lower than I expected.

Finished with a few coats of pure hemp oil (shown in video) and further coats of hemp oil and beeswax blend (Beehemp) polish.
