Conversion Sanad denied for plot in Goa.. why?
📢 IMPORTANT ALERT for Property Buyers in Goa
You may be denied Conversion Sanad… yes, you heard that right.
If you and your friends are planning to buy property in Goa, this is something you MUST know.
I recently came across a property where physically the land was completely flat. There was no visible water body on site.
However, when we checked the official plan records, the property showed a pond on the plan. Maybe the pond existed many years or decades ago — but today, you cannot see it on the ground.
Still, when the owner applied for Conversion Sanad, the application was rejected.
Even though the Zoning Certificate showed Settlement Zone, the sanad could not be granted because of the historical record showing a water body.
